We spent a week at Ocean Isle beach with Brandon’s family in June. We counted down for weeks and were so excited to finally get on the road and spend the week relaxing with family. That picture above makes me smile so much. Real life right there. Go ahead and pin that family photo.
It isn’t easy taking a 2 month old to the beach. He requires a lot of extra stuff, but it’s worth it once you get there and you get to splash in the waves and dig in the sand with your two year old. That is if he actually likes it, ha! Judah wasn’t a huge fan of the beach at first. He didn’t love the sand on his hands or feet, but once he warmed up to it he absolutely loved it, and let me tell you, he has been telling everyone about the beach since we were there. Seriously though, if I had a dime for every time I’ve heard the word “beach” in the last month…
(can you see my niece, Illy in that picture above? I just love that sweet little girl! And can’t wait to meet her new little sister in just a few months!) (also soooo many ponytails in this pic.)
We had a really good time. We rented a beach house for everyone and there was a little pond behind it filled with turtles which was really fun for Judah too. Plus there was a pool. which is much easier with kiddos when you need a quick place to go to play and cool down.
Titus enjoyed his time with the Wongs.
