I’m so thankful September is here.
No, it’s isn’t because it’s the beginning of fall because let’s be real,
it’s still quite literally 100 degrees here and I’m not digging out my boots quite yet.
Maybe we’ll talk fall in October.
September brings celebration around these parts.
5 birthdays in our family.
If I add friends’ birthdays the number goes past 10.
Including my 30th birthday, which I happen to be pretty darn excited about.
I’m getting a new niece this month. Any day now actually.
I’m gonna need my sister in law to stop texting me because it makes me heart race every.single.time.
We also have a friend getting married this month. We aren’t able to make the trip up to Wisconsin,
but I was able to send a piece of our hearts to the wedding by making her cake topper.
September means apple picking.
Which also means; pie, applesauce, apple butter, cobbler,
and all the rest of the things with apple infused goodness.
And even though I’m not a classroom teacher anymore,
September tends to bring a feeling of fresh starts.
A more consistent schedule, a desire to organize all the things,
and the need to send someone a bouquet of freshly sharpened pencils.
If my sweet baby boys give me enough time,
I’m hoping to add some new things to my etsy shop this month.
I’m also in cahoots with another shop owner to start helping her out
with her shop, which I love love love.
I’ll be praying that September brings a breath of fresh air for all of you.
That God will show His blessings and promises to be constant and true in your life.
And that we can all step back and breath in all that He has for us this month.
