I’m going to start a weekly post where I tell you all the things I’ve been loving recently, and I’ll do it every single Friday.
ha. yeah right. I refuse to commit to that nonsense, BUT there have been some things I’ve been especially loving lately so I will still share them with you, just more like whenever I want or whenever I remember.
So here ya go.
If you are a woman you need to read this poem. It may have made me want to pound my chest and get praisy. There’s even a printable version to hang in your cubicle and make you feel all lioness or katy perryesque on the daily.
Shauna Niequist has a new devotional coming out. Why are you still reading this? click on that picture of the book up there and order it now, and while you’re at it, order one for all of your friends. I hear there are also recipes included. You guys, her other books changed me for good and all of the recipes in Bread and Wine (buy that too) are INCREDIBLE so I am sure these won’t disappoint either.
Apparently I’ve been feeling all “women-power” recently because I just realized all three of these things I’ve shared with you today are from powerful women with big things to say. This one is definitely that even more than the previous two. This On Being interview with Nadia Bolz-Weber was just what I needed to listen to while working the other night. People have lots of differing opinions on her, but I loved that she made me laugh really hard, and think about what I believe, and love the church more, in just listening to this one interview. If you get a chance to listen I’d love to know what you think.
Love you all! Have a fantastic weekend.
